Starting to come together

After the pain of the last few weeks, we finally seem to be making progress again. Phew!

The plastering is all but finished, the decorating has begun in earnest. The second fix electrics is well underway.

The flooring is being put down in the kitchen/family room this week. The bathroom tiling has been done and the en-suite is underway. What a difference a week makes!

Next week the Aga arrives and the week after the kitchen is going in. I’ve been busy online shopping whilst Neil’s away in New York with work but sadly not for handbags! White goods (and pastel blue ones!), sofas and a table have been purchased and I would have spent more if I hadn’t had a sickness bug stopping me from choosing blinds, curtains and the like.
