Week 13 and not at all unlucky.
The roof covering was finished and windows and doors boarded up so that the extension was enclosed prior to the screed being poured (nobody wanted to find a fox stuck in the screed the next morning…).
The bathroom was ripped out leaving us with just a toilet in what was already a huge space. That’s some echo in there!
The plumbers laid the pipes for the underfloor heating and the majority of the first fix electrics and plumbing are in place.
Despite a potential lack of water pressure, the screed pouring was successful and left us with a super smooth floor that the children enjoyed running around on.
